The impact of our rebrand even surprised me

Updated Brand Guidelines-7.png

Something really cool happened for me since we launched our new brand, I've personally experienced the power of a brand in alignment.

I already loved this company.

I've already been busting my chops to bring our vision to life.

I already 100% believed what we're doing is the future of work, the future of life.

However... I've felt an even stronger engagement, a deeper connection with my very own baby, since our rebrand.

How cool. I had no idea there was room to embody what we're doing everyday more than I already was. Turns out I was wrong!

This fascinates me.

In all the years of reading business, marketing and branding books, I know this stuff at an intellectual level. But, as is truth with many things in life, experiencing something is different to simply knowing it.

So, what is a brand?

It’s the personality of an organization. It’s the way a business makes you feel and what it stands for. Communicated.

Our new brand does just this. It's an expression of our evolved vision and internal transformation; a reflection of us maturing as a company. Our new bold, but grounded palette, visually translates where we are now as a company and what we stand for. In line with what we’re committed to bringing to life, we’ve embraced four brand pillars:

  1. Growth

  2. Community

  3. Conscious culture

  4. Freedom.

Concepts summing up who we are, what’s important to us, and what we do...

Growth

Growth doesn’t always mean bigger, it can also mean better. And that’s what we believe in. How can we make everything we do better, on a continual basis, always looking for ways to deliver a better service, to streamline what we do, to increase the happiness of everyone involved, to improve profitability for both our company and for our clients companies and to ensure our contractors are thriving in their careers. A willingness to receive feedback with gratitude, to look inward, and to do the work to improve always.

Community

Helen Keller said ‘alone we can do so little, together we can do so much’ and we believe it. There’s power in coming together with like-minded people, sharing ideas, concepts and new ways of doing things. Collaborating, rather than competing. We live in an abundant world, if we so choose to, and there is only possibility and potential to be gained through building, embracing and leveraging our incredible community.

Conscious Culture

We’re riding the wave of a company culture rEvolution. We’re blessed to live in a time where we can choose the work we want to do, the projects we want to bring to life, and to do it with like-minded and passionate people. We can be vulnerable, and bring our whole selves to work, leading to greater evolution as individuals and ultimately as organizations. To top it all off we have so much access to information, we’re completely empowered to organize and manage ourselves to deliver great work.

Freedom

Working in a remote, and fully-flexible team, provides a level of freedom previously unavailable to teams and entrepreneurs. The freedom to work from anywhere, to keep our jobs when we move cities (or even countries), the ability to work while we travel, and the ability to work the hours of our choosing, opens up a world of possibility. No longer is work something that constrains our lifestyle. Work becomes an integrated part of our lifestyle, especially when the work we’re doing is in alignment with our personal passions and purpose. That’s freedom. These pillars sum up the things we really connect with, they bring to life our vision to grow happy, highly-engaged and high-performing remote teams, who love what they do. While part of this is carefully matching companies with the right professionals, we'll equally be focusing on supporting leaders in creating conscious, thriving work environments that foster real growth and impact.
